2011 Round Up and Hello 2012!

Goodbye 2011!

So we've just played our last gig of the year with the majestic Reigns (and many thanks to all who came down to see us - despite horrific weather we had a great time), and are looking forward to the new year and hopefully many more shows. We've written quite a few new tracks over the year and one of our top priorities in the coming year will be to get them recorded (we've been playing them live for months now so should be well-practiced enough to get them down in short order!), so a full-length album for 2012 is on the cards! For the time being thanks to all the amazing acts we've been privileged enough to play with this year, including but by no means limited to: Reigns, Up-C Down-C, The Rock of Travolta, Orders of the British Empire, Talons, and Arp Attack. Thanks also to everyone who's put us on this year and all the teemng fans/ friends who've come to see us. We'll be back soon!

Wedgewood Rooms 2011 Showcase

Good News Everybody!

Waking Charred are stepping up to the challenge of this year's unsigned showcase held at the good old Wedge. We'll be playing Sunday 31st July in what looks like a good old metal throwdown against other local up-and-comers Filthy Ramirez, We Are Traitors, Fall of Arcadia and Observing the Ghost.

We take to the stage at 8:55 so please come along, cheer like mentals and vote (preferably for us). Tickets are £4 in advance and feel free to message us to arrange them.

Evolution @ The Wedgewood Rooms

Thanks to everyone who came down to the Wedge last night to see us rock the shop as part of the new Evolution gig/club night. It's been a while since we've played a venue that size and it was great to see a big old crowd and to play with some top-notch local bands. We all had a blast, played a mix of golden oldies and brand new material, then had a couple of beers and enjoyed the heavy metal onslaught of Dendera. Can't wait to play there again!
